Two night ago, one of my biggest dream came true.

Two night ago, one of my biggest dream came true.

Through the years I have been living in Calgary, I have seen a number of Northern Lights (small to a bit bigger). But I always wished they were BIG, and that I was in the mountains.

Two nights ago, I was camping at Lake Louise for an elopement the next morning when I got the alert.

I almost didn't went because you know, I was alone and I am terrified of bears. But there was no way I was missing a BIG one again (Last May I was in Patagonia seeking another dream but we were too central to see them).

Oh boy, I am so glad I went. This was just breathtaking, unbelievable, way too beautiful.

I hope you all get to witness this beauty one day or another ❤️

Perito Moreno, Argentina

Living in the Canadian Rockies and having seen a few glaciers before, i was not expecting to see this when we went to visit Perito Moreno.

Standing tall, blue and spectacular 🧊

There is no words to describe the beauty of it. No other glacier i have seen look anything close to this.

I feel so lucky we could witness it. With all the climate changes, who knows how long Perito Moreno has before disappearing?

Perito Moreno ❄

With my heart full of wonder, I stand in awe of the majestic Perito Moreno Glacier in Los Glaciares National Park - Argentina.

The vast, frozen landscape stretches out before me, making me reflect of how small we are compare to nature.

I wanted to go to Patagonia to be breath taken by the landscapes and it worked. I had never seen such a beauty before. I have seen glaciers, but not that big. I am not even sure if glaciers like that still exist elsewhere.

It was also so heartbreaking thinking about this because you could see the impact of climate on the glacier first hand.

For the two hours we spent looking at it, we saw every 10 minutes a piece of the glacier detach and crash into the lake. And when I say pieces, it was not only small pieces, we saw a whole 70m high piece detach.

Right then and there, I promised myself that I would keep trying to reduce my impact. I was pretty good at it in Montreal but Calgary is not as easy. Small steps though, I am getting back to it.

We all have a card to play to help reduce our impact. What is yours?

When the forecast is rainy in the mountains, it doesn't always mean it is going to rain everywhere.

You just need to take a step back and you might find somewhere where the sun shines.

Plus, you gotta love a good cloud formation.

This is the time to follow your dreams.

There is always a reason why not to do it and there is always the ‘i can do it later’. But what if later might never comes?

I have been pushing back my trip to Patagonia for too long and when I lost my dad, i realized that we only have a short time here on this planet. I was always making excuses. But this time, no more excuses.

And this trip was one of my favorites ever ♥️ i will see you again Patagonia 🩵

Throwback to that camping at Flower Pot Island bac

Throwback to that camping at Flower Pot Island back in the COVID summer with @lara_kiri and Arnaud.

Alone (or almost!) on the island for the whole night with the flower pot to ourselves the next morning.

This is one of my favourite camping of all time.

Flower Pot Island is located in Ontario and it takes organisation - like all the campings - to be able to book a spot there. We had no idea what we were getting ourselves into when we stepped into the boat. Only three other groups were there because there was a storm advisory for those dates. We ended up leaving the next morning under huge waves and even rescued a kayak that was sinking!

I finally got to witness the peaks i dreamt about for years.

Now it’s time to go home.

Very cold fall morning in Patagonia.

Patagonia has been my dream for a very very long time. I was always waiting for something or someone to be able to go there. I wasn’t fit enough, the hikes i wanted to do were always full, no one was available for long enough… always an excuse.

But the only real obstacle was me in my head. I took the plunge and my brother and his wife with me and we booked plane tickets for Patagonia a month ago. We knew it would be fall but i didn’t know it was as cold as Canada’s winters 😂

Anyways. Believe in your dreams and know that there is only you that can make them happen.

This was my dream, and this trip is even better than the dream 🩵
