I think printing pictures are very important in a trip like the one I had. You can’t imagine how many pictures I took, I have like 1To and more of pictures and videos. So I got two pictures printed before I got back because I want to always remember my trip and the feeling I had when I saw the mountains.
I participated in a contest to get a free trial for printing them on a board to give feedback on them and I am very happy with them.
They are called Saal Digital They are from Germany and offer different printing services.
I wanted a print that wouldn’t need any frame around it and that is the perfect product for me. Previously, when I was in Canada, I printed some pictures from a website (photoweb or something like that) but the quality was not good enough to make justice to New Zealand’s country side.
The software to create the board was quite nice to use. I paid through it and everything went smooth. The package was delivered on time and very well protected.
The board itself has a nice quality, rigid enough and matte as I wanted my pictures.
The quality of the image is great. Some parts of the image that are blurry (because of the focus) are maybe a little less well printed (or it might be from my picture file) but it doesn’t bother at all, it would be only if you were looking at the picture from very close.

I printed two landscapes to see the quality of the print according to the light of day and during the night. Both are nice.
The references of the prints are: Alu-Dibond 30 x 45, standard for the big one of the Routeburn Track and the small one is Alu-Dibond 10 x 15, standard. 10 x 15 is a bit small I think I should have taken a bigger print… Next time!
Anyway, I recommend them and I might print a few more once I get the pictures sorted.
