Walking home from northern Amsterdam, it was raining cats and dogs. As we had fourty-five minutes to walk and I was really cold, we decided to stop an drink a tea so we could see on the internet where to find a taxi station.
What a great idea!
We ended up in this nice little café where people were already drinking and eating tapas. The shop has everything I am looking for in a café. A grunge look with christmas lights already on. Bare walls, wooden tables, a small scene on the corner with two small armchairs.
We ordered two teas and ended up with real mint leaves and jasmin flowers in our water glasses. You can ask for honey and get more hot water too.
There is free wifi too for working on the afternoons for example.
Next time I’ll try to go for a drink later at night!
