El Último Mono Coffee shop & Juice [Málaga, Spain]

El Último Mono is a coffee shop & juice in Málaga, Spain. I had a hard time finding a good wifi spot to go work in. I didn’t knew it but most of the coffee shops and restaurants in Málaga offer free wifi if you ask them. I though it had to be written somewhere but no.

Getting lost in the streets of Málaga is the best thing that can happen to you. If you follow the big streets or the touristic path drawn for you on the touristic maps of the city, you will never experience the true city and just see what Málaga wants you to see. You can do the sightseeing in just a day and then go on with your road trip or go back to your hotel. Though, the city has more to offer than the historic center.

I can only give you one advice on this city: Go get lost. Take a small street without looking at your map and you’ll find some hidden tapas bars or some great coffee shops.

This is how I crossed path with “El Ultimo Mono”. I was looking for another place in the most visited “Plaza” of the city (Plaza Marced) but when I walked by this strange coffee shop I stopped for a while. I was looking for a place to go work a bit and as soon as I saw the outside, I knew it was what I was looking for. The typo on the menu outside, the tables, the store front…

The place was great inside even if it looks small. I loved the door that looks like and old farm’s door. They have books that you can read while drinking your coffee. They make smoothies (like many places here), coffee, some food too. It is pretty quiet even if you are right next to a busy street. You can choose to seat between a bar table in front of a window or in couchs or on a benchs.

I didn’t tried the coffee because I was craving for a smoothie. It was really good tasting. I want to go back to try the coffee and work there again.
