The Assiniboine Elopement Experience

Where is Mount Assiniboine?

Tucked deep in the backcountry of the Canadian Rockies, Mount Assiniboine Provincial Park is a place where untouched wilderness meets quiet, majestic serenity.

A hike here is the kind of journey that stays with you — glacier-carved valleys, winding alpine trails, and that first unforgettable glimpse of the pyramid peak rising above the wild backcountry.

Imagine alpine lakes reflecting a perfect pyramid peak, golden larch forests glowing in autumn, and wide-open alpine meadows that shift from wildflowers to snow-covered magic as the seasons change.

Whether you’re hiking it, helicopter-in-out it, dreaming of exchanging vows at sunrise beside Lake Magog, sharing a quiet moment overlooking Sunburst Lake, or hiking to a breathtaking ridge (The Niblet & the Nublet) with the iconic Assiniboine silhouette behind you — this remote paradise offers a setting that feels intimate, wild, and entirely your own.

This isn’t just a stunning destination—it’s a place that asks you to slow down, step off the beaten path, and truly connect with each other in a landscape that feels almost untouched by time.

What you get

Assiniboine requires another type of packages than just the “regular” hours of coverage.

No hidden fees for travels, accommodations or anything.

Planning Help

With (not limited to):

location ideas and recommendations
activity suggestions
permits guidance
packing list

Custom timeline

I will draft a timeline covering the whole time we have together.

Timelines are more of a guideline than something to follow to the point. Maybe it will take more time to hike up the hill but will take less to get ready.

The main points of the timeline are the sunrise and sunset times as well as the locations.

Support Calls

When you book with me, I plan in advance at least 3 calls with you and might add more if we see we need them.

The calls are made to catch up on how the planning is going, if you need help with anything. One of them will be to draft the timeline.

They are your chance to ask me all the questions you might have. You can also always reach me on my phone.

The last call will be a few days before the elopement so we can make sure everything is ready and in order!

Questionnaires

I send out questionnaires before the elopement day in order to get to know you better and make sure to know all the important details to you.

A photograph can mean a lot of different things to different people and I want your gallery to reflect who you are, you and your love story.

I send a last questionnaire after the elopement to get a feedback on the day(s) and your experience with me.

3-5 days

Of me dedicated to YOU.

Because going to Assiniboine is such an adventure, I do have to block out all those days to be up there with you. If you hike, it can take up to 5 days for the full hike. If you helicopter in and/or out, there is only certain days where the helicopters fly so it will be at least 3 days.

If you want to do night time photos, go on a hike in the middle of the day or for sunset, this will also be included in the days – no extra.

As long as I am up there with you, we’d better make the best out of it!

Social Media Add-on

For free!

Because it is Bear Country and grizzly bears are known to be in the area, I will have someone tagging along with me.

And because I like having people do things when they come with me, that person will be in charge of the Social Media Add-on that I usually charge but it is included in this particular package. If you wanted to have a symbolic commissioner, I could also have that person do that- let me know if that would be something you would be interested in.

What is the social media add-on?
It is a package with high quality videos and photos taken on a phone (iPhone 17 Pro). It will allow you to get rid of your phone during our time together and truly enjoy the nature around us.

We will be able to share with airdrop on the day of (if you have an iPhone or by a link within a week otherwise).

Audio Vows Recording

If you wish your vows to be audio recorded, I can make that happen for you. It is included with this package.

If you want them to be recorded with your phone too, please let me know in advance and I can set it up as well.

One Printed Photo

I believe photos should last beyond the screen and I want to encourage all my couples to have their elopement day on their walls.

Size: 20×30 inches.
